Good stories build worlds. Good design welcomes you into them. I spend my time where these two meet.
I’m drawn to the connective tissue between worlds: science and story, data and feeling, expertise and access. My work is the translation layer, making the complex familiar without flattening the nuance.
My background reaches across the humanities, environmental justice, and public health systems. Right now that means working alongside scientists to translate community-centered climate research into stories that make explicit what’s often left unsaid.
Across all of it, my work starts with the same question: how can I honor the people and places whose stories I’m trying to tell?
I write, design, and think strategically — often all three in the same project. I’m most useful early, when the shape of something is still being figured out.
Open to writing collaborations, editorial partnerships, and communications projects with research institutions, nonprofits, and organizations doing work that deserves a better story than it's currently getting.
